Almost 2,400 sick and disabled people died within a fortnight of being declared ‘fit for work’ by a government contractor, within a period of just two years.
New figures released by Iain Duncan Smith’s department - following a battle with campaigners - show that around 100 people per month died shortly after being approved to take a job.
Top bloke that Duncan-Smith.

A8, 'trawl through the Internet '? One doesn't have to trawl, merely read any current affairs article about the Tories, it's well documented what evil cunts they are.

Why would I ray? I don't feel the need unlike you to trawl the internet all day to find ways of screaming "evil tories" at people.

They overturned 95% of the cases they supported. As Surface has pointed out the headline should have made that clear.

After8 4:44 Wed Sep 2 Re: IDS ray do you think Corbyn was right to say bin Laden's death was a tragedy?
Depends on whether you feel that immediate execution was punishment enough ?
Depends whether you fell that people who commit crimes are entitled to a fair and honest trial.

'Bristol students overturn 95% of DWP fit for work declarations'
That's actually a fib isn't it? As the words of the article you quote show.

I love all this "I'm alright Jack" shite being spouted. When circumstances change and you are unable to work/support yourselves ,I'll bet you'll be crying for rule changes. Just look at the outpouring of grief over Robin Williams suicide from depression (who from the outside had everything) The average Joe who suffers from depression gets no sympathy from the populace at all , Just told to man up and get on with it !

Government bods are doing the assessments, under a clear mandate, get as many people as possible off benifits, regardless of wether they are disabled or otherwise. 5 years ago they cut my missus's benefits completely, it took six months to get them back, in the meantime, I had to work my bolloxs off to bring the money in, I was part time carer, now full time. I made myself ill. Great way to save money ?The cunts are at it again. IF, anything ever happened to me I don't know what would happen?

Bristol students overturn 95% of DWP ‘fit for work’ declarations
Student volunteers at the Bristol and Avon Law Centre have overturned 95 per cent of Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) decisions made over the last two years in relation to 200 claimants who challenged the DWP’s assertion that they were fit for work.
The students have won £1m in compensation over that period, securing an average £5,000 in welfare benefits for every person wrongly declared fit for work.
